This simple yet monumental piece of design was conceived to suit a variety of spaces, both work and residential. It’s a bench, perfect for both indoor and outdoor use.
Panka’s freestanding structure is made with two independent steel legs that allow for easy disassembly.
The fastening system for the microcement slab that serves as the seat is made of bronze and consists of embedded and tapped hexagonal pins to accommodate bolts that secure the legs.
The product’s asymmetrical shape, the support system, and the interlocking seat and legs are inspired by prehistoric megalithic monuments, which also inspired the piece’s aesthetic and visual “weight.”
